State of the Tabernacle

TABERNACLES
Dont ye know tat ye are the temple of the Holy Spirit?(Compare Jn 14:23, Eph 2:21,Eph 2:19,20.) The old tabernacle was built as per the pattern shown on the mountain. A more permanent(naturally) was later hewn by Solomon. The old tabernacle had temporalism as its attribute, synonymus of the journey of believers on the age, awaiting a more permanent abode.  Synonymous with salvation also is the drawing- with an splendid show of might, of Gods people from a nation of oppression, idolatry and any other mischief of the darkness. Note the temple could not be in Egypt. There had to be a decisive separation. Thus we are drawn out of the world, Separated, and this is the definition of sanctification. Pharaoh wasnt exited about this separation. He suggested they just do the worship thing with all their bondage secured. The prophet knew better. First such would be an abomination in the sight of Egypt and could cost their lives(Ex 8:26). The wicked are an  to the abomination to the righteous. Increase the righteous in a land and its transgression would be stamped out. this is a secret of warfare. It is the tool of the Gospel.

Salvation comes in form of translation from the dominion of darkness-from a principality of death, to one of life, which is Gods. and it comes by faith in the power newly acquired Lordship of Christ over the new dominion called the spirit of man. The earliest demonstration of this was is the faith exuded by the smearing of the blood of the passover lamb on the door post as an angel of death rode on the fateful night of the last plague in Israel. The lamb a typo of the Son of man, born by the Spirit of God, who declared tat he was the sacrificial lamb, led to slaughter, later in form of the crucifixion, and thus his blood being the all important connector in the new oath  or covenant of brotherhood.

The cutting of the covenant marked the next phase of the adventure. It ushered the start of a journey through
the season that everybody had thought was meant to be liberating, rich, full and everything, kind words that a today's preacher would promise to a would-be believer. The disorientation immediately hit. First, a cruel desert, hot-no burning sun, not a drop of water no onions and curry, and all the tasty Egyptian spices-even eaten in servitude and bondage seem more promising. New fighters in an army would be stupid to think that they would gain their life if they surrendered to the enemy. The first thing the enemy would do is to ensure they eliminate the possibility of your becoming a threat again. Its Exactly what happens sometimes. We are enlisted in a war, a race, with rules, principles and laws-understanding, knowledge and the wisdom that is a life-giver. The warriors take territory by force, not by being given, and this territory could be your own life.
