WHAT REALLY IS WICKEDNESS?

Where is it?

First, the earth is under the wicked rule of the gods of this world: 
1 John 5:19[And] we know that we are of God, and the whole world lieth in wickedness.
Genesis 6:5And GOD saw that the WICKEDNESS of man [was] great in the earth, and [that] every imagination of the thoughts of his heart [was] only evil continually.
2 Esdras 15:6For WICKEDNESS hath exceedingly polluted the whole earth, and their hurtful works are fulfilled.(Don't look  at me, I just landed on this while on a KINGJAMES bible search. The book sounds interesting. I wonder why they pulled it out.Ill make an effort to read it too.)


Seems the ancients walked by grace too; as they inherited the wicked not by their good deeds, but as a result of Gos punishment on the wicked.
Deuteronomy 9:4Speak not thou in thine heart, after that the LORD thy God hath cast them out from before thee, saying, For my righteousness the LORD hath brought me in to possess this land: but for the WICKEDNESS of these nations the LORD doth drive them out from before thee.
Deuteronomy 9:5Not for thy righteousness, or for the uprightness of thine heart, dost thou go to possess their land: but for the WICKEDNESS of these nations the LORD thy God doth drive them out from before thee, and that he may perform the word which the LORD sware unto thy fathers, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.
Deuteronomy 9:27Remember thy servants, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob; look not unto the stubbornness of this people, nor to their wickedness, nor to their sin:
Next, the wicked are known by their innermost spirit;
Psalms 5:9For [there is] no faithfulness in their mouth; their inward part [is] very wickedness; their throat [is] an open sepulchre; they flatter with their tongue.
Psalms 55:11Wickedness [is] in the midst thereof: deceit and guile depart not from her streets.
In relation to believers, wickedness is an adversary;
Psalms 84:10For a day in thy courts [is] better than a thousand. I had rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God, than to dwell in the tents of wickedness.
Psalms 89:22The enemy shall not exact upon him; nor the son of WICKEDNESS afflict him.
And, they heap up treasures for themselves(this refers to powers of darkness gotten at the expense of the righteous);
Proverbs 10:2Treasures of WICKEDNESS profit nothing: but righteousness delivereth from death.
Kings too are in on it;
Proverbs 16:12[It is] an abomination to kings (refers to kings in the sense of the spiritual rulers)to commit wickedness: for the throne is established by righteousness.
Ecclesiastes 3:16And moreover I saw under the sun the place of judgment, [that] WICKEDNESS [was] there; and the place of righteousness, [that] iniquity [was] there.(This is in reference to the spiritual high places inhabited by the accuser of the children of God.)
 But the righteous triumphs anyway. This is because God is fighting for the righteous.
Proverbs 21:12The righteous [man] wisely considereth the house of the wicked: [but God] overthroweth the wicked for [their] wickedness.
Isaiah 58:6[Is] not this the fast that I have chosen? to loose the bands of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, and to let the oppressed go free, and that ye break every yoke?
Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, neither with the leaven of malice and wickedness; but with the unleavened [bread] of sincerity and truth.(This explains the meaning and significance of the law that forbid leaven in the sacrificial grain and breed offerings of the temple.)1 Corinthians 5:8
Our spiritual wars are against the same wickedness in the spirit:
Ephesians 6:12For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual WICKEDNESS in high [places].
Wickedness is seductive. For this reason, sin is always refered to as a woman that is hard to resist;

Proverbs 30:20
Such [is] the way of an adulterous woman; she eateth, and wipeth her mouth, and saith, I have done no wickedness.
(this isn't in reference to the human woman but to the whore aptly described in revelation, also referred to as Babylon, with whom the 'nations'and 'kingdoms'e.t.c of the world commit fornication with.Powers of darkness are also often referred to as a woman for their seductive pull of men.)
All WICKEDNESS is but little to the WICKEDNESS of a woman: let the portion of a sinner fall upon her.
