DANIEL

RECONCILING
CHAPTERS 7 & 8
In chapter 8, the angel says that the second vision is after the first, meaning a rerun of the first, like the dreams of pharaoh when He sought interpretation.
In a comparison, the two chapters laid aside and coincidences, similarities suggest the following order:

  1. The Lion(Daniel 7), coinciding with the reign of the two horns of the ram(8).
    • These days, later likened to the days of the Median rule by the angle, though in captivity, are relatively safe for the people of God. He(Cyrus the Mede) allowed a return of a captivity to Jerusalem, and the setting of the stage for the coming of the messiah is begun. His era is that of witnessing, and founding of the fellowship. The Lion is also the prophetic heritage of Judah by the last blessings of Jacob.
2. The Bear(7), coinciding with the reign of the two-horned Ram.
    • Viscous, The bear, devours, breaks apart the Children of the promise. He is not a camouflager like the leopard and therefore it is easy for the church to run and hide in his reign. His era is that of persecution.
3.The Leopard(7) not only coincides with the Ram but with specifically the rise of the Second Horn of the Ram to a greatness that the first did not have. The Leopard Takes Dominion of the first two in a similar way. He is also vile.
    • The Leopard, the expert in hiding and camouflage, years are full of deception. The enemies of the church are hidden amongst the safe places. They face a powerful predator. He overrides the previous antiques and uses them to his own advantage too. His influence is wide too, like the rams North, West, and South. This is an era of deceptive fellowships and entrapment and destuction of many believers.
4. The fourth beast, dreadfull, takes over the reigns of the Leopard, and of the two previous beast of chapter 7 in the reign of the Goat(8), which also took over from the Ram. The dreadfull beast rules though 10 horns or centers of power. In revelation, he is the terrible beast curiously described in portions of the characteristics of the four animals of Daniel 7.
    • His Iron teeth crush the bones and wears down the saints. His nails are intrestingly brass, the choice material of the temples wash basin and sacrificial alter. These signify the cleansing power of the word. The ruler  uses the same word in judgement to tear down his victims. Its why we have an advocate in heaven.  He is utterly lawless.During his reign, unsurprisingly, transgressions of men come to the full in his era..
5.Out of the 10 horns or centers of power of (7) , 4 emerge as stronger and overally dominating in the corresponding chapter (8).
    • These correspond to North, East, West and South.
6.Out of the principalities 4 in chapter 8, 1 emerges as an overall leader amongst his equals his characteristics match in both chapters. So does 1 amongst the 10 in chapter 7. This one goes on to conquer the East, the West, the North, and the South, and the pleasant Land and his antiques mark the ushering of a new Age.
    • This blasphemous principality doesnt just dominate the rest, He uses their powers to his advantage. This principality has already taken over at the present. With pride and disrespect to both Men and God, his territory is spreading like wild fire.About a year now the battle has just gotten tougher for the soldiers, but with the increase in darkness comes increase in light. The end of the age is at hand.
7.His reign is defeated by the saints and Christ, to usher in the reign of the messiah in the explanatory notes of Daniel 7, with a more detailed expression of the war and victory over the beast in Revelation, with a descriptive take-over.

8. The rule of the Ancient of Days, in Daniel 7and11and in the Revelation, a description of the judgement that comes with the take-over..
  1. SYMBOLISM
  • In a horn lies the power of any beast that possesses it. So does claws for a lion, a bear, or any other predator. Horns are the powers, strengths or artillery of the ruler.Google the specific animals in the online bible to come up with surprising references as to the position of specific principalities in the kingdoms of the age.
  • A head rules over the body. it is symbolic of the ruler, the King in this instance.
  • Beasts. Animals characteristics is his strength and ability to survive, or to carve out a niche for himself. The different characteristics of the beast therefore point out to their personalities, their modes of operation, strengths and weaknesses. Beast are usually used in reference to demonic principalities, for example serpents, dogs, warewolves, scorpions. The four beast are Demonic, as opposed to Human Kings. The same are also used to refer to a particular kind of Kings, those under the influence, or whose spirits were territorial possessions of the demons.
