THE KINGDOM OF GOD

MYSTERY OF THE KINGDOM OF GOD
God is the greatest, of the great, the highest, of the Kings in His Kingdom. Creator of heaven and its fullness, the earth, and its fullness, He is. There is no King, no Kingdom without Gods permission. This makes him the only qualified occupier of this high seat above all principality. The inception of this Kingdom into the age of man is in Genesis, When God gives Adam authority or dominion over a part of his dominion, named earth. This included its fullness, meaning glory, both seen and unseen by the naked eye. His descendants too after him(Gen 1:26,28). The authority gets sweeter. Not only is he at the helm of the realm, but its produce, is His meat(V.29).

The rule of man over the earths kingdom(a heritage we now await again) was qualified - by the restraint from the friut of knowledge of good and evil(Gen 2 :17). Mans acceptance, through the mischief of the serpent, to partake of it availed in him the evil seed. This evil seed by gaining access into the heritage of Adam, gained access too, to the provision of  life and kingship he had so far taken for granted. Thus he lost his provision(the earth was curse for his sake), and the seat over the splendors of the kingdoms, of the earth was now threatened by an evil seed, out of his own womb, that came as a result of the fall,/death.

The first rule over the earth by the sons of darkness came in the name of cain, upon whom God reiterated the curse of the ground.  Men would not be able to get rid of him due to the seal of God on his forehead(probably reference to a protective angel), and with the murder of Abel he curved out for himself a birthright, entitling him to the heritage of the kingdom of his father. He was the first son of disobedience, officially wicked, of the seed of man. Another similar occurence in the same Genesis was the sons of God looking upon the daughters of men and noticing that they were fair(likely spiritual) and went into their men, who married them, and of these were born giants, renown great men of old(This is a vivid description of demon possession, and the birth of resultant 'great men' who, due to their mixed parentage, wielded overruling power over fellow men(Gen 6:1-4)). The territory of the sons of darkness upon the earth would be henceforth be to the exclusion of the intended seed.

With the Kingdoms of the Earth falling into the hands of the adversary, arose the likes of Babel, Egypt, Nineveh, Sodom, in defiance to the Almighty, who still keeps His place at the top of the realm. With the fall, the keys to the kingdom which but he progressively died to the realm of the spirit. With this life mortality reduced in like manner, and with the increase in evil over the thrones of the principalities and kingdoms, increase in darkness over the earth ensued. At a point the darkness got too great over the land and hence the need for the flood, not just to give time for the elect seed of man, Seth, to move through the generations to a perfect time, but also as a prophetic declaration of the judgement of God to come over the principalities. This first bout of judgement affected the earthly Kingdoms. The second, that is to come at the end of this age, is tailored for the spiritual Kingdoms, the principalities of the high places. This is the event that will precede the restoration of the saints to their dominion over the Kingdoms of the earth(Daniel 7.)

The flood occurred with Noah tightly sealed in a place of safety, a hiding place as is even now in our generation wherein the glory of God is an overcast garment over us.  Noah wass said to be "perfect in his generations," while we are similarly perfected by the power of the blood of Jesus. Authority of the dominion over the earth is given to him(Gen 9:2,3) which indeed was a land devoid of people but ruled by darkness as the spirit was not destroyed by the flood. The adversary at that time, was already in power. He was being offered a land occupied. This was the new order for any future would-be occupiers of the Kingdom of God. It would be by force. For this reason would Abraham too be given the Canaanite land(also Gen 15:18,21), the land of the Giants that would later creep out the Israelites who feared them. Unknown to them, it was already in their name in the heavens. So is the Kingdom of God to the elect.

To search for the seed that would triumph over the authority of the serpent(the adversary who ruled over the kingdom of darkness,) as promised at the fall in Eden continues to the Son of Abraham, whom Abraham sealed in a covenant when he gave him unto God. He(Isaac) was received in the spirit, the first typo of the salvation we ascribe to now(Gen :22:12). We now become Gods by belief in Him. Isaac gave his heritage to Jacob, albeit by some cunningess from Jacoob(Gen 25:31,32). This was a man that knew the worth of the covenant, demonstrated when He took on an Angel of God, and held onto Him till he released the fullness of the promise(the kingdom in the physical symbolism) to him. This was the birth of Israel, the promises of God still intact within its walls today. The promise was taken by the edge of the sword. Israel therefore has a place as a prophet of the church(concerning a spiritual heritage of the Kingdom of God), and witness against the gods of this age(the reason why it is very contentious) and for nations that have a partaking in the spiritual kingdom of God. See, whoever rules over Israel(follow the money) rules over the rest of the principalities.

When the nation of Israel took over the land, God had curved up for Himself a Kingdom, over and against those of the earth.  After some time, the thorns and the bristle of the land of Israel(Josh 23:13) got them disillusioned. The elect seed was mixed up with the defiled seed too. The presence of the thorns that prickle like serpents and the seeming free wiles of the philistines and other gentile nations to force their will on Israel would lead them to look for their own version of protection - an earthly King. Blind, of course, to the spirit, they had no vision of the powerful God that ruled them, and made the fatal mistake of asking for a King "that they could see". They preferred a great man, like the heathen, and Saul was one((1 Sam 9:1,2)). It was a rejection of the authority of the Kingdom of God as he intended it. One where only He was the sovereign. The search of the perfect seed resumed.

David was the Lords choice, out of the seed of Israel(1 Sam 16:1), from whose lineage was Joseph, the earthly father of Jesus, which qualified Him for the office of the King, with the lineage of Mary His mother being of Levi and the priesthood of the house of Aaron qualifying Him for the office of the priesthood over men. As a perfect seed, forever holy due to his Sonship to God, He is the perfect seed of man to inherit the promised kingdom. He is the worrior that forcefully is taking over the Kingdom with the saints that accept His lordship. This is how He did it: H descended into the depths(eph 4:9) and made war with the powers of death-that which hit man at the fall(Gen 2:17). He trounced these powers that withheld the Kingship of the elect from them(Heb 2:14,15). His victory is - "I have overcome the world"(John 16:33). Thus by force, He took the right to sit at the helm of the thrones, at the right hand of his father(Phil 2:9). By acceptance of Christ in our spirit, we accept His authority, His oneness with us that makes us inseparable form his person, and from each other, and aptly qualified to sit with Him as kings and priests. This is the Kingdom of God. This is also the re-conciliatory ministry of Jesus to us(2 cor 5:18).
