VESSELS OF THE TEMPLE OF GOD

Before the moulding of the vessels of the temple of God is digging out of the earth of the raw material. This corresponds to the calling out of the people of God out of the world. Here, the intended raw material is purified, which is a process ranging from sieving, crushing, smelting and separation from other intended material that would otherwise lower the value or in the case of men, the glory of the intended vessel. This most important function of setting apart was represented, in a shadow, by the first part of the temple. There was found the cleansing rituals, sin offerings, which employed both fire and water as a main part of the ritual.

The water in forecast represented the cleansing power of the laws of God, teaching us what is good. The fire exists spirirually, in the form of baptism of fire from the spirit of God. God is a consuming fire and His indwelling in vessels of men produces purity.

The placing of spiritual gifts in their vessels is determined by the moulding process. A pan becomes distinguishable from a pot or a spaddle and so on. This implies that from an early stage of maturity spiritually, the gifts of God can be discerned according to How God is relating to a person. This is the moulding of the vessel with anticipation of a specific use for the temple. This could be prevailing circumstances that brings out a skill or a knowledge through the experience. The same works wonders in building a Godly character in us as well as teaching how to live right. This means a mans gift can be known by His Challenges. Same for desire and love for a particular gift. Desire the best gifts.

Finally, the vessel of the temple complete, it is put to use according to its design. EVery vessel in the temple of God has a use. The use of all the vessels is for one common goal; to facilitate the general good or operization of the temple.

Just as all vessels made one temple, we are all one body, the body of Christ. This is the temple we are servicing as vessels of the kingdom of God. Fellow saints are also individually temples of the Holy Spirit and any service done for their good is good use of the vessels of the temple, seeing we are individually vessels too. Here is the conclusion on using gifts inside us as useful vessels; do good to your brother if it is in your ability to do so.
